Course Overview

Ce cours permet à l'élève d'acquérir des connaissances et des habiletés pour œuvrer en hôtellerie et tourisme. L'élève applique des techniques professionnelles de préparation et de présentation des mets en utilisant l'équipement spécialisé, apprend à servir la clientèle dans les règles de l'art, se familiarise avec les normes et les règlements en matière de santé et de sécurité et planifie des événements touristiques. De plus, le cours amène l'élève à réfléchir aux enjeux sociétaux de l'industrie de l'hôtellerie et du tourisme ainsi qu'à explorer diverses possibilités de carrière et de formation dans les différents secteurs de cette industrie
