Course Overview

Ce cours vise la compréhension de phénomènes liés à l’enfance et à la ieillesse de même que la connaissance des besoins des enfants et des personnes âgées en matière de soins de santé. L’élève examine une variété de facteurs influant sur le bien-être et la qualité de vie des personnes appartenant à ces deux groupes d’âge, étudie les moyens de prévenir la transmission de maladies courantes et développe des habiletés essentielles en matière de soins de santé. L’élève se familiarise aussi avec les lois régissant l’administration des soins de santé pour les enfants et les personnes âgées et avec des questions sociales et environnementales s’y rattachant. De plus, ce cours lui fournit l’occasion d’explorer les possibilités de carrière et de formation dans ce secteur.
